A parade will kick off the first day of Indonesian Week 2017, which represents a compilation of Indonesia traditional and modern dances performed by more than 80 Indonesian and International Students.

TUESDAY(火)

experience the authentic traditional festival of Indonesia filled with local performances, fun games, and free delicacies in Malioboro Night Festival

WEDNESDAY(水)

Build up your teamwork, agility, and strength while playing Indonesian Traditional games at "じゅうななーあん" directly translated from "17th", the way we call our Independence Day which fall on 17th of August.

SEMINAR(水)

A seminar on "How Social Entrepreneurship Plays a Significat Role in Eradicating Poverty in Indonesia" will be held to raise the awareness within APU, aiming to enhance collaborative partnership in the future.

THURSDAY(木)

Experience a tour around Indonesia's archipelago with a thrilling twist! Steer your ways around our islands and be a witness of our urban legends.

GRANDSHOW(金)

This year's Grandshow, "Ilusi" will bring you to the forbidden world of illusion, with elaborate performances, magnificent music, and a story you really should not miss.

Indonesian Week,

is a part of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University's series of Multicultural Week, held with the intention to showcase Indonesia's culture to international audience. Since its debut in 2002, Indonesian Week has evolved into a festive event that engages the international community of Ritsumeikan APU through not only witnessing the spectacle of Indonesian Week but also by taking part in the proceedings. Every year, Indonesian Week is attended by more than 1000 people, both from the local and international community of Beppu, Oita. This year, Indonesian Week is going to be held from June 26th until June 30th, presenting the theme "ただいまインドネシア, I'm Back Home!", with the hope of introducing the warmth of culturally diverse of Indonesia through a variety of traditional dances, music, and cultural workshops in a week-long exhibition held on campus.
